SOLD – ACTION MAN 1st ISSUE DEEP SEA DIVER
This vintage outfit from 1968 is complete with all accessories and comes on an early 1970’s flocked head body.
He has no splits or cracks and stands well, he has his original blonde flocked head and has been fitted with a new pair of gripping hands.
The breather pipes have the early issue working compass (later issues were just a paper sticker).
The helmet is the early issue screw fit (later issues were a bayonet fitting) the red stop tap turns and the front face plate opens freely.
The Belt is also an early issue with Eight Metal Weights (later issues only had four of these metal weights).
A pair of Gloves, Metal Weighted Boots, Sledgehammer, Marker Buoy with Flag, a set of Breathing Pipes and an original Divers Knife and Leg Sheath complete the outfit.
Also included is a copy of the original Deep Sea Diver Instruction Leaflet
It is worth pointing out that these diving suits were initially lined with a latex which over the years degraded and often shows up as a white powder on the inside of the suit.

Here we have the Action Man ‘Special Team’ Arctic Assault Soldier from 1982, the outfit is complete and in excellent condition, the balaclava is intact and still very supple with no rips which is a plus given that many of these tended to tear or go brittle with age and use. It has its original stickers on the helmet and armband.
