The American Green Beret Soldier was originally released in 1967 as part of the Soldiers of the Century range and was available as a full set or as part sets on two of the equipment cards, this set was only available for a short time and original outfits are getting harder to find.
The set was re-released in 2006 as part of the 40th range.
